These are such a must when you are out working and need to quickly re-sharpen you chain to get back cutting again. This tool takes the struggle out of sharpening a chainsaw chain by holding the chainsaw cutting bar and saw rigid in one place while you work the chain. All you do is simply hammer the vice's prongs into a nearby log and then clamp the chainsaw bar between the locking bolt which provides not only stability but more safety for the person sharpening.
