As you may have probably found out this switch is a common culprit in causing the engine to cut out. They become worn over time and either don't connect properly inside or short out inside causing all sorts of problems. The switch fits under the seat so to detect if the rider has got off the seat while it is moving or when the blades are active.
Switch Details:
Colour : Light Grey
Number of Terminals: 2.
Switch circuit action when not in use ( e.g rider off the seat ) = Normally Closed.
How does it fix : Clips in via clips either side.
Height of switch when not in use: 42mm.
